There is a much better trade if you back 1-2 barca @ 9.0  Bet365 lay at 10.0 but avoided that due to high liabiltyin other words large balance required.

Well I think there was a winning five fold in there somewhere but we didnt find it!
ROI Scotland was a bit annoying with the opening goal being clearly offside.

After a successful campaign last year, I'm taking my football betting over to a new site at matchdayprofits.com - currently you can download a free antepost guide. I'm also writing another ebook which will follow soon.
Dont worry I'm not about to ask you for £300 a year for football tips, as a matter of fact if you've followed this thread you'll easily be able to join for the whole season from a very small portion of your profits!
Email me if you have been following these for a unique discount code exclusive to this thread ONLY.

Regards

Paul

PS I'm not in a rush to jump in to the betting right at the start of the season, but will post back with any weekend bets.

Specials:
Bournemouth, Everton and Leicester are the opening Priceboost treble from Skybet, not a threesome I'd put together yet actually looks at a shade of value at the 10/1. Other firms are between 5/1 - 6/1.
3pts

Five fold:
Keeping stakes down to 5, many big leagues still to start and any banana skins wont hit us too hard.
1
. Chelsea (Chelsea v Swansea English)
2 . Arsenal (Arsenal v West Ham English)
3 . Manchester City (West Brom v Manchester City English)
4 . Aberdeen (Aberdeen v Kilmarnock Scottish)
5 . Lyon (Lyon v Lorient French)
5pts with Ladbrokes @ 5.27/1

Fixed Odds:
Man Utd v Tottenham
Tottenham look too big at 11/2, a price we may be able to trade out of if they go in front.
Spurs win 4pts @ 11/2 Coral

I am almost tempted by my team Aston Villa @ 33/10 (whatever happened to good old fashioned 100/30?) but this is mainly because I have no idea what to expect from them. In all probability though they will struggle to create chances with new faces needing to hit the ground running.
So -one to watch not bet on.
Norwich v Palace looks like one that's been priced with a little too much new boy factor taken into account, Palace have every chance of kicking on and as a top 10 club vs play-off winner the 2/1 is big enough.

5pts Palace to win @ 2/1 Bet365/BetVic

Newcastle v Southampton
Southampton were one of my favourite sides last season, and having already had dust off in an impressive 5-0 aggregate Europa League win I think there's worse 7/4 shots out there, that said I think bigger value lies in the win to nil.
3pts Southampton to win to Nil @ 19/5 Coral.

Crystal Palace got us out of jail last weekend with a pretty poor 2 from 5 on the acca highlighting the early season need for restraint.

This weekend we've got more to go at.
I think Utd will have too much for Villa this evening and they'll be in my acca, but a decent bet looks to be Rooney to score and Utd to win, which can be backed at 3/1 with Coral (max £25) so I'm going with £6/6pts on that to start with.
Rooney has an superb record against Villa scoring 8 in 12 including 3 in his last 3.

Looks likely I'll have a 5 fold later as well including this Friday fixture.

6pt/£6 five fold on Ladbrokes 5 + Acca coupon @ 5.6/1
1 . Manchester Utd (Aston Villa v Manchester Utd English)
2 . PSV (PSV v Groningen Dutch)
3 . PSG (PSG v Ajaccio GFCO French)
4 . Celtic (Celtic v Inverness CT Scottish)
5 . West Ham (West Ham v Leicester English)
Again not big stakes as we've got a double interest on the Utd game and early season. Three obvious ones here and then Utd @ Villa.
I thought Villa were a tad lucky not to be behind at Bournemouth and Utd will not miss the same opportunities. Utd were probably just about deserved winners v Spurs and the new signings look at home in their roles. Villa have an appalling record against Utd with one league win in 39 matches, although this Villa side for the most part wont even know about that, Villa park has been a happy hunting ground for Rooney et al and I can see them coming out on top. West Ham were great against Chelsea and although this will be an entirely different proposition today where they'll have to come forward I do think they have the class and composure to win, Leicester may have ruffled a few feathers with their opening display putting 4 past Sunderland but we must remember that was Sunderland! And they did also ship 2.

(Tottenham v Stoke)

Norwich-Draw

(Sunderland v Norwich)

Chelsea-Draw

(Man City v Chelsea)
3pt/£3 treble @ 6.17 Unitbet.

OK so no profit from the inplay £5, but I'll be happy to go into the last period of any match with any goal resulting in a nice profit so not a bad strategy there.
Could have had a side bet of £5 on 1-0 once it got to Evens on Betfair but as it stood we risked 0.56p so no damage done. +1st leg of acca up.
