Two bets you should be placing today plus how to always “get on” and winning (free) racing tips

Two bets for you today that are too good to miss.
You are gonna need a Skybet account for the first and a Paddypower account for the second.
First up Skybet’s price boost is a cracker this week offering 4/1 about Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton to win today.
skybetpriceboost1To put this into context you can ignore the “was 6/4” as that’s their price, but if you wanted to bet these three in a treble elsewhere the best odds you’d get would be 2.68 with Hills, so basically this is 5.0 when best industry odds are 2.68.
priceboost1stnovIf you consider Arsenal and Chelsea both to be virtual “penalty kicks” (as I do) then you could almost say your getting 4/1 about a odds on shot with Everton.
Anyhow, its a decent value punt whatever way you look at it. As always, don’t go overboard with stakes, bet within your comfort zone. (I’m not sure the limit on stakes on this one but I got £25 on)
Secondly, Paddypower are offering money back on the draw in the Manchester Derby.
mancityutdFor me this is a great concession for two reasons, firstly I think around Even money is a nice price for the City win. They’ve been so dominant in this fixture recently and I see them as on another level to Utd even without Silva. Secondly the draw is always a big runner in derby matches, so to have it on your side is a big plus. My advice would be to take the 10/11 about City to the max stake of £50 (or as much as you are comfortable with). If it ends a draw you will get refunded by way of a free bet, which you can either use or cash out using the “odds matcher” approach as we do with the Bet365 in play offers.
Be careful though, check the T&C yourself and dont bet if your account is in anyway restriced with Paddy’s  as mine is- I asked them and was bluntly told that I’m no eligible for this special.
Which brings me nicely on to my next point – bookmaker accounts.
One of the things on my list is to open a few more “pseudo” accounts. I’ve had enough of bookies quite frankly taking the piss, and its almost like a vendetta for me.
However, there’s a right and a wrong way to go about it.
If you want to go the right way then you could really do with this great guide from SBC:
sbc_september_cover_smallThis is just one of many great features from the guys who produce the Secret Betting Club magazines. The other recent issue of note highlighted a superb FREE tipster with performance to rival any top paid advice, and I’m not talking Hugh Taylor or Pricewise tips which we all know are no use as prices aren’t attainable in general.
TPR_cover_Oct_smallQuite simply, the kind of quality, unbiased, and detailed information that SBC publish – isn’t available anywhere else.  That’s why I highly recommend joining.

Quite a few of you saying Skybet not being very generous with this.
I remind you all that Skybet are a “partner friendly” bookie, meaning you can normally get away with a 2nd account in a spouse’s name 😉
If they are just flat denying stakes accross all accounts, apologies – maybe I should have sent this earlier but I was out trick or treating last night.

    Hi Paul
Betfair sportsbook are also doing up to £25 money back if it’s a draw, hedge your bet and put £25 on ManU with BF and £50 on ManC with PP?

    • paulr says:

That would work Paul, about £25 either way. Thanks for pointing the BF offer out.

    • eugene says:

Bet £50 on City with PP at 1.95, bet £25 on United with BF at 4.2 and bet £8 on the draw with Ladbrokes at 3.75. If it’s a draw you win £22 and get your £75 back which should be enough profit to take a small loss on laying your £75 on BF. City win +£14.50, United win +£22.

Sky kindly let me have £2.50 on.
